Carl Pei Confirms Snapdragon 778G+ SoC Powers Nothing Phone 1
The website named WinFuture that leaked the Nothing Phone (1) image earlier has now revealed the Nothing Phone (1) black color variant, which you can see in the above pictures. This black color looks better because its white LED lights give a vice versa look on its transparent black panel and its side bezels like platinum plating with Matt color. Additionally, some details regarding its chipset have been confirmed by the CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei, in an interview with InputMag. Pei said Nothing’s first smartphone would be powered by Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, which we also saw in the leaked specification. Besides, as we all know, this chip is not as powerful as the latest smartphone, such as the OnePlus 10 series. Pei also explained why the company decided on Snapdragon 778G+ SoC for Nothing Phone 1 because it is a mid-range & the first smartphone from the company with a unique design compared to other smartphones available in the market. And to keep it affordable, this chip is perfect and is not bad at performance. It is capable of every feature that you require on your device. Personally, I also believe that other companies are not focusing on something new in design. Nothing will launch the flagship on 12 July, and right now, we can’t confirm whether there will be two variants with white and black color or if there will be only a white color variant.
