After several brands have announced support for streaming in HD, it’s time for the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus to do the same with the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. The solution to OnePlus DRM problems
Now, almost 3 months later, the solution has arrived but bringing an unpleasant situation to users. Everyone who wants to access this functionality will have to send their equipment to OnePlus for a software upgrade. The reason for this return to the OnePlus home is the need to install this update on a properly authenticated PC. With this requirement, it becomes impossible for the update to be sent via OTA to all devices, as the brand normally does. The cause of this OnePlus problem
The problem with HD content on Netflix is that it is impossible for these devices to be granted the L1 WidevIne certification from Google, which is required by Netflix for their HD content. The new update can now meet these requirements. This is not a normal measure and it brings some problems to users.
