Facebook had already started to tweak the news feed to promote more interaction and the changes are now coming into effect. Recently, Facebook said that the overall usage of its platform dropped by “roughly 50 million hours every day” compared to the previous quarter.
However, this quarter also saw the first-ever decline in the growth of Daily active users on Facebook in Canada and US. Mark Zuckerberg believes that the drop was necessary for Facebook’s future success. Well, it’s worth to note that Facebook has posted a 14% quarter-over-quarter growth in daily and monthly active users worldwide.
