The video shows Mokoi, a demon from Australian folklore which appropriately debuted in the series with the original Soul Hackers and was also included in the latest game, Shin Megami Tensei V.
As usual, the trailer also includes the daily horoscope with a ranking of signs from the luckiest to the unluckiest. Pisces is at the top, while Leo is at the bottom of the fortune ranking.
Soul Hackers 2 releases for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Windows Store) on August 26, just one day after the Japanese launch on August 25.
You can check out the original trailer, plenty of screenshots, a second gallery, more images, and a video explaining the gameplay.
Previous daily trailers include another one focusing on Vouivre, one revealing Bicorn, one showing Black Frost, one featuring a shop, one showcasing Titania, and one revealing Nue.
Here’s how Atlus officially describes the game:
Produced and directed by Eiji Ishida and Mitsuru Hirata, other featured staff includes music composed by MONACA, character designs by Shirow Miwa and Production Manager Shinjiro Takata.”
