In a statement, Twitch said, no personal information of the users like Passwords, login credentials, full credit card numbers, bank details were exposed.

Twitch is used by video gamers to interact with users while live-streaming the content. All the users got an error in the server configuration and had blamed the breach for the error. At the time of server maintenance, the server configuration is done. Due to a faulty configuration, the stored data was exposed to the servers. However, Twitch confirmed that they are confident only a few number of users were affected by the breach. The company is in contact who were directly affected. Twitch has more than 30 million daily users. In a blog post, Twitch said, Twitch has reset all stream keys and has provided a link to get a new key. All the users need to manually update their software with a new key to stream. As per the reports, around 125 gigabytes of data was leaked in the breach that contains details of the highest-paid video game streamers from 2019. The payout of around $9.6 million (roughly Rs. 70 crores) to the voice actors of games like “Dungeons & Dragons” and Canadian streamer xQcOW is $8.4 million.
