Every Death in Jujutsu Kaisen 0
The primary characters that die in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 are Suguru Geto and Rika Orimoto. If you’ve watched the anime, you may be confused to hear this information because several episodes have shown Geto alive and well. However, this version of the character is not the same person we see in the prequel movie since the ancient sorcerer, Kenjaku (Noritoshi Kamo), possessed Suguru’s dead body. In order to understand this story arc, let’s go back to the scene where Gojo and Geto have their final conversation. Although we don’t see the actual kill, Satoru does indicate what he will do next when he states, “Do you have any last words?” On top of that, Suguru was already mortally wounded from Yuta Okkotsu’s potent attack, resulting in Gojo’s decision to put his best friend at ease. It isn’t until Chapter 90 in the manga that we learn about what happened to Suguru’s body afterward. In these panels, Gojo sees Geto again and is startled by his appearance since he killed the character with his own hands. Due to this information and past relationship, Satoru knows this isn’t the real version and immediately questions this mysterious being. Kenjaku, also known as Pseudo-Geto, reveals how he used a cursed technique that allows him to hop between bodies by switching brains. He also explains that Gojo’s failure to dispose of Suguru’s body is the reason he was able to acquire this new form. Then, in Chapter 134, we discover that the evil sorcerer has possessed other vessels to continue his mission to evolve humans with cursed energy. Besides Suguru Geto, you can take Rika Orimoto’s death into consideration because she was able to pass on by the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. That being said, fans of the anime can expect Yuta Okkotsu’s return and learn about what has happened to him now that her spirit is gone.
